Virtual Backpack
West Burlington ISD Virtual Backpack is the district’s “green” approach to distributing information from school-sponsored activities and non-profit organizations during the school year.
Why Go Green?
- Parents will now be able to find information in one easy online location.
- Saves our district and community non-profits money on printing.
- Be more responsible for caring for the environment.
For Organizations
Non-school-sponsored information will only be distributed from non-profit organizations via the Virtual Backpack. All flyer distribution requests should be submitted at least 10 days prior to the desired distribution date. Link to the district's virtual backpack will be sent out every Friday during the school year. Please EMAIL your information to; abby.young@wbschools.us. Be sure to include a .png, .jpg, or .pdf version of your flyer/materials.
Non-school sponsored materials must include the following statement located in a conspicuous location:
"This is not a West Burlington Independent School District publication. It is being distributed through the school district as a community service of the district to inform you of other community activities or services available."
